Our Latest Issue

What’s new in this issue?

Exclusively on our cover this month are six amazing gold nobles in superb condition. Now disclaimed, finder Eric Passey describes how events unfolded during their discovery.

Other highlights not to be missed include a beautiful medieval gold and amethyst ring brooch discovered by Richard Kinsley, a Carausius with a new type of legend unearthed by Nigel Cowley, a rare round halfpenny of Henry I recovered by Steve Houghton and researched by Adrian Marsden, and a silver cufflink found by Pete Anning.

Our technical feature this month looks at the XP ICON, ICON X and ST Headphones, written by Neil Ham and Scott Sibbald.

We also have three rally reports: two from Emma Youell, covering the Metal Detectives Kent Weekender and the RCM Rally in Newbury, and one from Beth Dixon, who attended the Dorset & West Pathfinders Charity Weekender.
