What’s new in this issue?

One of our exclusives this month is a lovely Armorican gold stater hoard found by Dave Eagles in Dorset. He found it when storm Dennis was raging all around him on a club dig and his holes were filling up with water as fast as he could dig them. Our other big exclusive is a Viking hoard from Yorkshire, found by Colin Smith. It consists of silver ingots, arm bracelets, hack gold and a gold ring just to name a few – a truly amazing find! Daniel Spencer reviews the new Snake Skinz, Peter Spencer continues his series in the ‘Language of coins’ which helps with identification and one other highlight is Paul Bancroft shares his archive of Iron Age brooches.
